She put her hand on my wrist cast as she drove. I dosed off for a bit and she woke me. We’re here Julio she said as we rolled up.
The community was nice. First floor? I asked. Yes She said. Sweet! I said. There’s a jacuzzi and a pool on premises as well come summer. A jacuzzi will help my therapy. Yes it’s open year round but you’re not to go without me right now I don’t want you drowning on my aunts property. She owns this? Yes they’re actually condos Julio. Whoa y’all are rich! Stop we’re not rich. She scolded. Let’s go check out your new digs she said. Yes ma’am! The interior had an eclectic flavor with dessert southwest pictures. Newer, modern. Double door fridge, water and ice in the door, central heating and air conditioning. I turnt the door light on and off a couple times. Focus Julio. Here’s our bedroom, she said, king bed, walk in closet, full bath. Our bedroom, I love it beautiful, I said. Over here is the guest room, queen bed, full bath, closet.
Washer dryer in the kitchen, dining, living room. The computer, desk area is over here this will be where you can do your work. I sat down at the desk as she walked about showing me linens, towels. She noticed I wasn’t following her physically or mentally. What is it? She asked coming to me lifting my chin with her palm. It’s just….what, she pressed. It’s just a lot to take in right now girl, kinda overwhelming, I’m still reeling from the accident. I’m not myself yet. Like I’ve morphed from a nightmare into a dream that can’t be real. What would you like to eat Julio she said changing the subject, there’s stuff in the freezer. Uhhmm desert? I said coyly. Not right now young man she said, let’s see how you progress over next little bit. Believe me I want it too! Surprise me sweetness I’ll have whatever. So we had glazed turkey and vegetables. She had Gatorade, sweet tea made and plenty of bottled water in the fridge.
I want to cook stuff. Good stuff and feed it to you. I said. I’d like that Kathleen said.
I have your courses set up online through the school she said as we ate. You can start tomorrow. You just sign in I’ll give you username and password. Yes ma’am I said. It’s gonna be different living together girl, take getting used to. I think it’ll be fun Julio! She giggled. I looked up your curriculum so if you don’t want certain courses just delete them but others are basic requirements. I gave you some more advanced in case you wanted to try them. Yeah I haven’t given any of that much thought. What have you been thinking Julio.
What did y’all say to my mom and grams? I asked. They were quite upset that first night. Kathleen said. I told them I’d help in any way I could. Your gram seems to be a worrisome woman. Yeah she is Kathleen. But they didn’t ask a bunch of questions they just thanked me. They didn’t understand why I’d help a student out by taking them in but I asked them how they’d handle it if I weren’t able to when I told them the plan and they didn’t know. Your mom is worried about medical bills. She has insurance through her work at the local hospital. I said, don’t know how much it will cover to be honest. I’ll owe so many people so much money after all this. Julian you won’t owe me anything Kathleen said. I’ll feel obligated to y’all ma’am, I said, straight up! I’ll pay you back somehow. You know what we’ve shared Julian to this point, our relationship doesn’t have a price tag but it does have value. If I didn’t think y’all were worth it I wouldn’t be doing this darlin she joked. I laughed in pain. I gave you some more advanced courses to see where you are. I’ll try to get you better equipped for college. College? I ain’t got money for college girl hell I barely had lift ticket money for our skiing trip! Well I’m going to help you with that also she said. But you have to want it Julio. Y’all think I’m less than what I should be? I asked defensively. I’m not good enough for y’all? That’s the first time since I’ve met you you’ve behaved in an immature manner Julian, of course not! Are you not hearing me? I’m sorry girl. No ones ever pushed me. I’m not pushing you Julian I’m nudging, she laughed. I’ve seen so much unrealized potential in you in what you’ve shown me.
Let’s make some popcorn and sit on the couch in front of the fireplace! She said. There was a gas fireplace. Ok I said I’ll fetch it Miss Kathleen. I got myself up and hobbled to the cupboard, brought out some Orville Redenbachers, popped it in the mic poured it in a bowl and sat on the couch. Kathleen came out from the bath in her usual robe. Well I thought we were gonna go slow babe since I’m kinda incapacitated right now I joked. Calm yourself baby I’m just getting comfy we both laughed as she laid down with her head on my lap. Oh I’m sorry am I hurting your thigh? She lifted her head. No it’s all good babe lie down. She set a bottle of Gatorade on the floor for us to share and I fed her popcorn with my good hand while we chatted. She seemed so content and happy with her new found resolution. She was in control.
What do you think you’d like as a career Julio? Have you thought about it? No Kathleen I’ve just muddled my way through everyday life. I hate school. Just the whole classmate bullshit. I can’t learn in the classroom. I can’t absorb the theory. I mean science, biology, it’s not so bad but stuff like history, English, algebra I’ve no interest in learning. Do you think you’re ADHD? She asked. I don’t know ma’am. I can’t focus on the things that are uninteresting or unimportant to me. I never take books home don’t do homework I’ve no interest in that either. I listen to music. I know a thousand tunes just by listening to them a few times maybe even just once and I’ve memorized them. I can think, reason, memorize but it’s like there has to be a gimmick before I can do that successfully or with any continuity. It sounds like you may have a deficiency Julio. Oh so I’m a sped now? Stop it that’s not what I said Julian! Sounds like that’s what you said to me. UGH why are so incorrigible sometimes! She fumed shaking her hands next to her face. Look I’m willing to try just about anything once I said. If y’all think I need help then alright! I said feeding her another piece of popcorn. The heat of the fireplace was melting my soreness and stiffness making me drowsy. You know what I’d really like a shower right about now girl it’s been several days. Those sponge baths the nurses gave me didn’t do much for me. Oh I’m sure you enjoyed the young ones sponging your junk Mr Molina she smirked. Alright let’s shower then.
We went to the bathroom and undressed. When she saw the dark bruising all over my body she got a look of shock. Oh my god Julian! Quite colorful huh? I said. She turned on the shower looking hard into my eyes and adjusted the water temp. Here let me wash you she said. I could see she wanted to cry. She began to wash me ever so gently trying to soothe my bruised broken body The hot water felt so good pouring down over my head, shoulders and body. I stepped into her pulling her face up to mine with my good hand kissing her mouth pushing her up against the shower wall. I held my mouth against hers pulling up her leg and penetrated her. Hhhooaahhh no Julian you can’t she whispered. I can baby let me make you feel good I whispered back balancing on my good leg fucking her slowly. She put her arms around my neck. It hurt some to thrust into her with broken ribs but it felt so good. I love you babe thank you for everything I whispered. She said nothing but pleasurable sounds. She kissed my neck, chest and continued to wash me gently while I fucked her. Once I’d spent my load I was done sapped from my injuries and meds. I needed to regain my strength. I bought lotion to rub on you she said and helped me from the shower to the bed where she massaged me. She straddled me naked massaging my chest and arms then she had me roll over where she massaged my back and shoulders until I fell asleep under her spell. I woke later with her lying half on half off of me both of us naked. The warmth of her body against mine felt so good.
Kathleen just loved on me all night long like she couldn’t get close enough. Damn girl I feel like we’re attached at the hip I whispered running my hand through her hair kissing her, but I love it. If you weren’t hurt right now I’d punch you in the ribs she retorted. The king bed had so much room but there we were bunched up in a tight bundle.
