I gambled and lost -- I'm 46 and pregnant
I'm 46 and somehow am pregnant. My Dr. said I'm in menopause, so I don't take birth control pills anymore. I gave up the pill four years ago.
With all that, I noticed my sex drive had increased, and I've been active the past few years. I was off the pill but nothing happened till now.
I've been seeing a number of people off and on, so another issue is, a number of men could have been responsible for this. So it's not like I can just go to one man and say we need to talk.
I've just been casual dating and they know it so it's not like we're all,in love or anything like that.
I really didn't think this could happen.
I feel stupid too, I have a 20 year old daughter, I've always told her to be careful with guys.
I know my sex drive has increased, so I'm not thinking straight about what I'm doing.
How do I explain this to my daughter, my friends, I'm so torn up and even if I confess to each man involved, what if they are thrilled and happy. I I might get an abortion, I just don't know yet. But what if a guy is happy, I don't want marriage or anything.
I have trouble with my sex drive and actually have enjoyed experience with different men.
How can I be going through menopause and get pregnant. I don't even have consistent cycles anymore.

I agree with her. I'm 40, and my sex drive is good. Divorced so just not looking to get married again. I've had a couple of friend with benefit situations. And my reason for doing it is just because I had a desire for sex. Im no longer looking for a special boyfriend or looking to get married again.

Get the abortion, and then birth control. I know menopause is happening but it's a process and until it's completely over, you can get pregnant. You learned that lesson.
