I’m cheating on my bf, but he won’t leave me

We live together, and I’ve been cheating on him with another guy for a few months now. He knows about it, but has yet to break it off with me or show a desire to leave.

We just kind of go about our business separately, and it’s to the point where the guy I’m seeing even spends time at our apartment, and we’ve had sex many times there, but still my bf stays. I’ve confronted him about things, and told him I intend to continue seeing this other man, but he just kind of brushes it off and says it’s on me for betraying our relationship, and that he’s not going to give me the satisfaction of breaking up.

He says these things yet this new guy and I spend time together right near my bf, and fuck regularly when he’s still in the apartment. He seems just very sheepish about it all. Like he’s turned into a walking doormat as soon as another man showed up.

The new guy I’m seeing tells me to not worry about it, and to just do what I want since my bf still pays for half of the bills for our apartment. He says he’s just a weak kid who doesn’t know what to do, and we should just live our lives and keep growing our relationship. At this point I can’t help but agree with him.

If my bf is this scared to speak up, then let him keep paying for half of everything, and I’ll keep seeing this man that gives me what I need.
