A quick spanking

A couple years ago my wife and I spent a few days in San Diego. I didn't stop for gas on the way out of town on the last day, although she reminded me several times. She insisted we stop for gas at the first exit we came to, but I blew her off. "We've got plenty of gas. We'll stop later. " I think we had less than half a tank. Instead of arguing with me about it, she just kept quiet.
As it turns out, there was quite a lot of miles before another exit appeared, and we burned up a lot more gas than I was expecting. I started to panic when the "check gauges " light came on and there was still no gas station in sight. We were in the middle of nowhere. I was sure we were going to end up stranded on the side of the road, and I knew that it was my fault.
Luckily, we came to a gas station after running on fumes for miles. We pulled in, gassed up, used the restrooms and bought some snacks. She still wasn't saying anything.
Once we got down the road a little bit, I pulled over onto the shoulder on a relatively isolated stretch of road.
"I'm sorry I didn't listen to you," I told her. She simply nodded in agreement.
"Do you want to spank me?" I asked reluctantly.
"Yes. "
I got out of the car and walked around to the passengers side. I opened her door, pulled my pants and underwear down to my knees and positioned myself across her lap. She spanked me with her hand as hard as she could until I was squirming.
"Okay, stand up," she commanded with a final swat.
"Yes, ma'am."
She got out of the car, knelt down and removed my belt from my pants, which had fallen around my ankles.
She took me by the arm and led me around to the front of the car.
"Bend over. "
I obeyed, putting my elbows on the hood of the car. She spanked me with my own belt until my butt was on fire, then handed my belt back to me and said, "okay, let's go. "
I pulled my pants back up, put my belt back on and got back in the drivers seat.
It was about a three hour drive, and my butt stung all the way home.
