Subjecting a rogue child to a walk on hot coals to discipline him
Today my 8 year old son broke a vase at home while playing football in the living room, he has been too rough and disobedient lately, so my husband and I agree to punish him more harshly: we will make him walk on a bed of burning embers with bare feet.
Now he's grounded in his room, while my husband is preparing the bed of red embers in the garden; when the embers are ready and nice and hot, I will go and get our son so he can take his punishment and we don't care if he backs down and begs... he will walk the entire path of burning red embers with his bare soles, so he will finally learn to live in the world and be more obedient.
Many will think this is cruel and ruthless, but we have read that it is an excellent way to discipline and toughen up kids; and then there is very little risk that he could get burned
When I was a little girl, and I was sent to a correctional institution, I also suffered similar treatment. I was 10 years old, and I got into a fight with two other girls my age, the governess then established the punishment; In the evening, a bed of embers was prepared in the courtyard of the institute, and I and the other two girls were forced to walk on it barefoot, while our other companions were there watching so that we could act as a warning.
None of us suffered serious burns, but the pain and fear we experienced were intense.
There's no point in you weaklings whining, our son was subjected to punishment and didn't get burned; just a few light (well-deserved) burns on his feet.
As expected, as soon as he saw the bed of embers, and told him that he had to walk across it with bare feet, he started whining and begging like the typical spoiled brat. Luckily we are strong parents, and after a bit of perseverance, we managed to make him go on the embers. Unfortunately that idiot must have gotten scared, so instead of crossing the burning embers, he stopped and started dancing on them.
We naturally started laughing, because he was too ridiculous; this 8 year old idiot who instead of walking on the bed of embers he hops on it like a poor retard, as he continued to say, moaning like a sissy: "Ahhh!!! Mom, Dad! Help, it's burning! Help... ! Please, stop, have mercy... ! I beg you, I can't take it anymore, my feet are burning... I won't break anything anymore and I'll be good, but please make me stop, I can't stand it anymore, my feet hurt!"
XD I swear, how pathetic! But I think we finally got it straight.

Yeah actually he can. 2nd and 3rd degree burns can lead to infections which can lead to hospitalization and death. Not to mention the mental trauma being inflicted on a CHILD.

Well, actually charcoal is a terrible conductor of heat, so the boy isn't at risk of burns of that severity; as for trauma, that is guaranteed
