I met a man on a cruise
I met a man on a cruise. One of my friends and I went on a cruise together. I start a chatting with this man and we spent a lot of time on the cruise.. My friend joke to me that., she felt like she was on the cruise alone. Because I spent so much time with that man.
And she knew that for sure. Because on some of those nights. I did not return to our shared cabin. Because I was with that man in his cabin.
After the cruise I wanted to stay in touch with him. He lives five hundred miles from me so would have been along distance relationship. I invited him to come visit me in my town. First he said he would visit me but then he made a lot of excuses. And he never invited me to his town. I eventually lost touch with him.
I don't know if it was the fun of being on vacation like that which led me to him. Or how we had started chatting and he just seemed like he was such an good guy to be around.. but it's like one thing led to another and we had wonderful times together.. but once we were back on land he clearly did not want to continue things.
I know longer distance poses problems for people. But it really hurt my feelings that he did not even want to think about it.. He would have made time for me if he really wanted to see me again.
What I can say for sure is that I felt desire. And I really lost all judgment on that ship. I wanted him to make love to me. I wasn't thinking straight. There's nice memories. I feel there could have been so much more. We will never know what could have been

My husband dislikes to travel so our agreement is I take a cruise a few times a year with my best friends. I'll add that we're all married and late 30s.
This is our way to relax, get away and have 'no strings attached' fun. The best part is once the cruise is over, it's over. Everyone goes back to their normal lives.
