Not sure I’d compare the two despite the obvious similarities. However, I often give newbies this advice if they have trouble taking me up the ass (I’m not that big). At the point where it feels too stretched and painful, relax and push like you’re taking a shit. For some reason that open up the old sphincter and waves the traffic through, either direction.
