Girl I dated spent a weekend at a psych hospital

Sorry, I know how these look. We were at a music fest, got separated with dead cell phones, and a few hours later we're calling the ambulance because she showed up to the hotel room wasted then she swallowed a ton of pills when she got there. Calling her father, an allegedly violent man, was not fun, but I sacked up and did it. He told me to drive her car home and it was ok.

She's so lucky that a decent guy saw her and got her back to our hotel with his car. We didn't last long after that.

That was a year and a half ago, I wasted some time in grad school, and I have dated one girl since then. I made a joke of a dating profile, seeking a girl that dressed slutty and drank a lot. She was an english teacher pretend sorority girl, but was obviously funny, interesting, and a recent ex-pat who was staying in Taiwan. I appeared disillusioned on our date so she got bored, she probably thought I wasn't interested in her. I can still tell you about a certain type of won ton she ate in Taiwan, for what it's worth.

For some reason, I never called her back. I let becoming a doctor get me so distracted from the things that matter. I'm not asking for validation or advice, and i'm terrified of your comments, but i just thought I'd share that.
