Open marriage

Married my husband when I was 22, he was 28. Had one son when I was 24, one daughter when I was 28. After my daughter was born, I was staying at home. A few months later a neighbour's wife passed away. They were married over 35 years but were childless. He was retired, well established, around 64 years of age at that time. He became lonely after his wife died.

He was very intelligent, had various hobbies like gardening, pottery, wood carving, painting, cooking etc. to name a few. As I was staying home, I would often check up on him. Brought him some dishes I prepared. Cleaned his house and did his laundry. Loved listening to his life experiences, watching him indulge in his hobbies. He encouraged me to try some of them. I really got into painting and gardening. Gifted me some pots, vases, some paintings he made. We started getting closer. It was a loving companionship.

He asked my husband to lend me to him from time to time. My husband and I reached to an agreement. I started spending time with my companion more often with my husband's permission when my husband went out of town. Even staying overnight at his house when husband at home and can take care of our kids. But eventually some other neighbours found out and they portrayed it scandalously and started behaving viciously towards us. Even most of our friends and family who came to know were against it.

To keep ourselves safe and away from being constantly judged, my companion sold his house and went to a small hill town and took me with him with my husband's permission. Our kids spend time with me and their dad equally. My companion was very loving and fond of them since he did not have kids of his own. He became a second father to them and taught them many life skills when they stayed with us. My husband would also visit us when he had free time. I really loved his company. After two years he asked me if I could carry his offspring and let him has his blood to leave behind before time catches up to him. I obliged and I gave birth to two sons from him. I stayed with him for 9 years before he passed away. After that I moved back with my husband and he adopted my companion's kids as well and remained being a good father figure to them as my companion was for my husbands kids.

I did not get into any other relationships outside my marriage after that for many years. But last 2 years I have been seeing a younger man from my work who gives off the similar vibe as my companion did. I guess that's why I became close to him and felt an immediate connection. My husband has been very considerate about my new relationship as before.
