I am 37, a home nurse. I am embarrassed to say that I have only had sex one time in my life. It wasn't pleasant, it was unwanted, rape really. But its the only sex I've had so I can't be too choosy. I'm not pretty or sexy. Not my gift. Being nice doesn't get a man to want to have sex with you.
Pretty and sexy are both in the eye of the beholder. Sure plenty of guys would love to be with some supermodel, but most guys, myself included, ultimately want a partner with a great personality they enjoy being with. My GF (we’re both late 50s) did not believe she was beautiful or sexy, but let me tell you she is to me. She now knows she is beautiful and sexy. Point is, don’t give up. Make an effort and you will find someone for you.
I'm only guessing but I think the rape experience you had is messing with your mojo. You should at least discuss with a therapist what happened and that at 37 you have not had sex. They can help you work thru stuff and you will likely find yourself more open to sexual relationships. Don't give up on intimacy and sexual pleasure. It's too good and important to not be part of your life. Good luck.
Just put minimal effort into it. Guys are generally not THAT picky.
