Apparently I’m Nowhere Big Enough
I’ll try to be brief. My gf (now wife) of 3 months told me her favorite sexual position was. She described it to me and later I looked it up. It’s called the Lotus Position. The girl sits on her mans lap and wraps her legs around him. So the next week I try to naturally get her into that position and she doesn’t go for it. A little while later I say to get on my lap and she still doesn’t go for it. Later that night I tell her I was trying to do her favorite position and she says with a bit of a startle “oh yeah... well maybe another time”. Another few failed attempts and I’m really frustrated. So much so I confide in her friend who has become like a sister to me. She tells me you have to be quite long to pull that position off.
Why would a gf or wife say “this is my favorite position” only to never try it with me and knowing her ex is quite a bit longer than me?
What should I think? I’ve tried finding a new position she likes but so far I’ve been unsuccessful.

Respectfully, if you want to know why then you should ask her. We can speculate all day but we don’t know why she brought it up but doesn’t want to do it.
I'm female and tbh you should be fine. The nerve endings in the vagina only go down about 3" so if you are longer than that she should enjoy you. Maybe she doesn't do that position because it brings back memories with her ex? Find something that works for both of you. Connect your genitals and spirits and enjoy.
I remember the hurt I felt when my wife said “yours is the smallest I’ve ever been with” and “I used to be able to orgasm all the time before I met you, you’re sort of small” she told me also that her ex was really big and that’s what she got used to. Also learn to really talk to her. Find out her desires and needs. It could be you or not. Don't be insecure about it. She may not be doing your fav sexual stuff either. Share with each other.

That’s not nice. If she’s a slut before embrace that she will be after. But I agree all these women who have one night stands and do anal and suck a guys dick then meet the one only to give him second best in the sex department is terrible. Really just awful and selfish.
