I know this is an old post and the original posters rarely comeback to provide an update, but I've read this one a few times and I have to contribute my thoughts:
WHAT I WOULD DO
1. Your mantra must become "don't play your cards too early." Write that down and put it in your wallet and review at least daily!!
2. Gather as much evidence as possible without raising her suspicions. This has to include at least pictures but your aim is video evidence.
3. Find out as much as you can about him (is he married, job, family etc.)
4. Carefully, pump your wife for information about "her friends affair." Don't ask a million questions at once or she'll get nervous. Since you know it is actually her you can use the information against her. For example, if she says they do it at her house then you know they are doing at your house and you can set up cameras at your place. If she tells you some of the kinky stuff they do you know they are doing it and that will help for #6 below.
5. If possible, beat the shit out of loverboy, but you MUST NOT BE CAUGHT!
If you can't do it without being caught, wait til later to get your revenge on him!
6. Ramp up sex with her, get kinky with her as much as possible. That way when you break you can laugh about what you did to her. This will also make her think you don't know! This is called reclaiming the pussy!!
7. When enough evidence is gathered (again video if at all possible) get a good divorce lawyer.
