Only one lie
My wife thinks she’s the only person I’ve been with. She believes she took my virginity as teens. Truth is I had already been w 2 girls (once each) before we met. I will take it to my grave unless I get dementia and give it up w o knowing. I’m I a bad person for lying to her all these years? Have no clue what my motivation was to lie at the time. But I can never tell her the truth. That’s the one and only lie I’ve ever told her. Hard to believe but it’s the truth. It gnaws at me every single day and it’s been nearly 35 years ago.
If the only secret you've kept from her in 35 years is over something that happened before you were together, you're a model husband. Clearly you love her dearly. Give yourself some grace. Your wife is a lucky woman.
Keep it to yourself and continue to devote yourself to her.
Don't tell her. My husband thinks I've only been with 5 men, it has to be anywhere from 50-80 men that I've been with. In college alone it was like a different guy every week, not to mention the threesomes, and orgies, professors for a better grade, married men, etc
Females mainly do this for there own reasons, privacy, afraid others will think less of them, afraid of a backlash of retro-jealousy ect. Let it go guy it's your personal private business. Because people get married doesn't mean they own you.
