I am looking for some insight to share with my brother about a situation he is in. He is 47 years old. He started working out recently, mostly jogging looking to lose a few lbs. Last week he met a woman at the park. In three meetings at the park over the last week, and according to him no more then 10minutes of conversation. She has shared. Her name, occupation (masseuse), how long she was married, (18 years) how long divorced, (6 months) son's name, where he goes to college, (and the house is empty when he is gone) her age, high school, college, phone number, and her address. That is all I can think of. I told him she wants him to call her to get together and probably more ... call it women's intuition. He said she knows he is married and she is just looking for another client. Looking for some thoughts.
I have been around women like this. They tell you their life story in a few minutes , if by chance you do get together for anything other than sex there is zero left to talk about . They are usually looking to get right back into a relationship and more often then not are controlling as hell because of their recent divorce.
He's probably correct..She's giving out certain information to lure him to thinking he has a shot, but, in reality..It's all a sales pitch for another client. Bartenders and anyone in the personal service business do this all the time, especially if they're attractive or hot. Ten bucks says he's nowhere near the only guy she talks to at the park or anywhere else. It's all about business.
Basically agree with you as I am sure she would be open, willing and ready for anything at this point. What is your brother's marriage like and what is your sister in law like? Are they happy together? Or is something going on with them in a less than harmonious way? In any even this woman seems desperate for companionship in some, or should I say any, form and fancies your brother. She also may be the type that basically makes a nuisance of herself and speaks every little thought that pops into her head and is coming across as the clinging, needy type. You should get your bro to open up a bit more about her. Has he run into her lately and if so how has that gone? She just may be a good masseuse trying to drum up business and may be safe for bro to get a legit massage. Or if he was inclined to stray on the wife he could set up what seems to be a legit massage and see where it leads. Of course, if he has no desire to hook up and he doesn't want to deal with her then good on him. If he desires a bit on the side this sounds like the perfect fwb. The thing is, she probably does this to many other men and could be red flagging herself. I would tend to let bro deal with this and let him trust his own instincts on this one. I know you are concerned for him but you just have to let him handle this himself.
