How do you look at men

Just curious here, I am certainly no Don Juan, and have only slept with 6 women in my life. I had a very honest relationship with 4 of them, we talked about everything. One conversation I noticed that all the women had in common was what they thought about having a child with someone who was of a different ethnic they were.
I mean I had a lover “B”, several times after sex we’d be lying in bed and she make a comment like “hey did you notice that cute black guy that sat across from us at dinner, You know sometimes I wish that I hadn’t had my tubes tied because I bet that he’d make a beautiful baby in me.” I kind of thought it was weird, but all 4 of them made similar comments to me.
Do all women look at men and imagine what a child with them look like. These women were all white, and I noticed they never imagined partnering with a white man. It seemed that they had that thought about Black, Asian, and Indian (Native American and sub-continent).
