Girlfriend mom put her on birth control

Huge missed opportunity. I was 22 and going out with a girl who was 20. I believed that one should not have sex before marriage. My girlfriend and I were planning a two week road trip during university holidays. Most nights we would be sleeping in our tent. The first night she said to me "mom put me on birth control so if you want to do it".

Short version I didn't do it. Believed no sex before marriage. What missed opportunity.
