I’m straight and I wear skimpy swimsuits
I’m a straight guy. I’m in decent shape, not overweight at all and trying to work out more to get back the six pack I had in college. And when I go to the beach or pool, I ditch my board shorts and wear something skimpy. Speedo briefs, bikini style swim briefs (made for men, I don’t wear women’s swimwear), even a thong every now and then. It makes me feel sexy, like I’m showing off my body a bit, and I like that brief swimsuits don’t get all soggy and clingy the way board shorts do. I’ve received appreciative looks from some women, and I’m also fortunate that my SO is a wonderful woman who is generally supportive of me wearing swimwear that isn’t the norm for guys in the US. When I’ve been in Europe it seems like everyone wears skimpier swimsuits. I wish Americans would get over their fear of skimpy swimwear. Choice of swimwear doesn’t define sexuality. I wish skimpy swim briefs would become the standard for beach and pool wear.
