So my friend invited me to a party at her new place, she was excited because it was her first time being out on her own. when I showed up I noticed that her apartment was in a bad part of town, and when I asked her about it she didn't seem to care, she said "the rent was really cheap". When we got inside there was already tons of people there, and I noticed this one guy wouldn't stop staring at my ass and chest. What bothered me about it is most guys when I catch them checking me out they look away, but he didn't seem to care that I noticed, and when he would look at my ass he had almost an aggressive look on his face. He came up to me and offered to make me a mixed drink, I said "no I'm okay" but he kept on asking me, I didn't really trust him so I said I would go with him when he made it. But for some reason he kept on insisting I sit in the living room while he makes it. It made me feel kind of suspicious so I snuck into the kitchen while he was making my drink. When I snuck into the kitchen I seen him and three of his friends huddled up around the drink, I watched him put a roofie in it and stir it with his finger. So I tried to take my friend aside and secretly tell her what was going on, and out of nowhere she yells at me and says "why do you have to be such a bitch in front of my new friends". So the guy shows up and gives me the drink and everybody is chanting "drink "drink" and I wasn't sure what to do so I put it up to my lips and I feel this really fizzy bubbles touching my lips, way too many bubbles for the type of drink it is. With my friend getting mad at me and everybody pair pressuring me to drink, even though I knew there was a roofie in it, I seriously considered drinking at and almost did. So I put the cup down and told him that I can't drink it, and he asked "why not" and just then my friend walked up and said out loud in front of everybody "she thinks you put a roofie in her drink" and she calls me a bitch again. She must have called me a bitch like a dozen times. She ends up taking the drink from me and downs it and says "see there's nothing wrong with it". So I'm not really sure what I should have done, but I pretty much just left her there, and got out of there as soon as I could. I thought about it and I don't think I could have carried my friend out of there and at the same time fought off 4 guys trying to rape me. So I just left her. I was kind of wanting to know what you guys think.
Doesn't sound like much a friend to me. Bowing to peer pressure is never a good thing so you did well. I didn't say it wasn't awkward or difficult but you did the right thing.
You reacted very good. Hindsight is very clear, but you could have asked the guys to drink your drink if there was nothing wrong with it. You could have accidently spilled it and made yourself another.
However, with guys that agressive, it is probably good you just got out of there before they all raped you.

Yeah when my friend said that I thought they were trying to roofie me, the way they were behaving completely changed. I started to feel like I was being surrounded and one of the guys went outside jumped in his car and drove off. I asked my friend if anything happened to her that night after she drank the mixed drink and she said no but I think she's lying.
You did the right thing protecting yourself. If more women used their heads in these situations there would be a lot less of them getting molested at parties.
