A special polyamorous relationship
My husband and i have an open, polyamorous relationship. he seldom gets involved with any other women other than myself, but i do have another partner with whom i've been with for a very long time, much longer than the duration of my marriage, actually. the catch is the nature of said relationship... because my partner is also my brother.
only a handful of people know this, and even to them it was outrageous at first, but there's very little to explain here. we are very close in age (i'm the older of the two), and since we were little we often said that we were in love. and it's always been true, i don't think we ever trusted anybody else more than we trusted each other. we were each other's first kiss, and we lost our virginities to each other at 15 and 16.
we obviously never told anyone, we loved each other in secret. we never had to tell our parents, since they both died when we were both in college. their deaths actually brought us closer together. by the time we were out of college, we were living like a married couple. only our two best friends know (one because they walked in on us fucking, the other because they're very open minded and we talked, and they supported us).
all our lives, we often dated other people to keep appearances. it was more like a thing of necessity, so there was no jealousy. we allowed each other to have feelings for those people, while keeping our relationship strong. the man who would become my husband really shook this foundation, as i fell really hard for him, enough to want to be in a serious relationship with him as well. but i wasn't sure i would be able to have my cake and eat it, thinking he wouldn't allow me to be in a relationship with him, and someone else at the same time (much less an incestuous relationship). that strained my relationship with my brother, eventually.
surprisingly, my husband was open minded enough to understand that love is love, no matter where it comes from and who it is directed to, as long as you don't harm anyone. i moved out of my brother's after getting married, but the three of us are constantly together, and both of them are my lovers (sometimes, even simultaneously ;) ).
Im able to share all my secrets and fantasies with my boyfriend. He knows all about my naughty past. Even the really really dark secrets. We still come up with or share new ideas and fantasies, and since I'm able to bring up ANYTHING, I asked him what he thought about me exploring things with my cousin. How my cousin and me got to the point of possibly fucking each other is a whole other long story so I'll skip it. Without my boyfriends understanding, encouragement and support, without him having both an open and perverted mind like mine, I wouldn't be fucking my cousin.
