I shouldn't be single
The truth of the matter is I shouldn't be single.

I am excellent at communication, but I also know how to give someone space. I am very rarely jealous, and if I am it is almost always with a valid reason. I love sports and will happily watch them.

Going to chime in here, and you may not like it. I apologize if you don't. I've dated several (too many) overweight women, and, while cannot speak for you, found most to be rude, obnoxious, and have such an overcompensating attitude, i.e.- think they're drop-dead gorgeous, sexier than anyone else, and, of course, the famous words "I'm a good person", that it's a complete turn-off.
Maybe guys are picking up on that sort of attitude from you, whether you know it or not. You know you're overweight, and see other, more attractive, fit women as getting all the guys, so, you're angry, too. Again, I say..Sorry if this offends or is news to you. Just giving you a guy's point of view.
Also, a big woman who likes sex toys is not a good visual...Leather only looks good on slender, fit women..Not women who stretch it out and makes it look like it's original state (a cow). Ditch the sex toys and just go regular.
I'm a fat girl, always have been. I didn't get married until I was 35, because no one wanted me--at least in a long-term relationship way. I've been a successful professional (teacher) since I was 23, own my own home, have no debt, dress beautifully, and have been told by everyone that I have a gorgeous face--but I've always been fat. That was always the deal breaker.
Weirdly, I'm in my late 30s now and more guys hit on me than ever--and I'm married now. Be patient and give it time.

Guys are very visual, all those positive things you mentioned are not apparent to someone when they first see you. Your SUV, could be your man's (from a stranger's perspective), unless you walk around with a resume, no one would know you have a nice job, etc. Just find a way to show men all your positive traits without sounding like a showoff, maybe online dating? As far as the weight thing, don't workout simply to lose weight, that becomes unmanageable, find a sport, game or hobby who's side effect gets you in shape: boxing, running, hiking, yoga, ballroom dancing and so on. If exercise is a "chore" it'll never stick. Good luck. Also, you can just go for men who like bigger women.

I think you are the one letting your weight get in the way of you finding someone. Lots of men find women who are bigger to be sexy. If your weight is an issue to you if will be projected that way to other people too. Good luck in your search for a relationship and happy 2017!
It may not be so much of a weight issue as it is that men are intimidated by you. You have everything already so what is there for a man to bring to the table. I know in the world of feminism you would be a shining example of the independent woman but unless you are a man looking to sponge off of a woman most men still feel like they should be taking care of a woman or at least have something to offer. I know I will get bashed for sounding sexist ,its just my observation.
That being said, it doesn't matter how successful or intimidating a woman is, if she's smoking hot, she can fuck 90% of men if she wanted to (not saying they would all be quality men though).
