I know that BBW means big beautiful woman, but I was wondering what requirements make a person BBW? For example, I am 5'0" and in the upper 130s, low 140s (varies daily as I lose weight), with a current body fat percentage of 31%. Is BBW for women that are morbidly obese?
According to official obesity charts, at your height and weight you are considered overweight. If you go up to 150+ lbs you will be obese. By industry standards, you are a bbw if you wear a size 14; some people say size 18 but they're just fooling themselves and not admitting their weight problem.
Not even close. You might be a little chubby due to being short but you aren't a BBW. You need to be wearing a womans size 16 and gain another 20 pounds to qualify.

This can vary depending on height and physical build. Then you have USSBBW which stands for Ultra Super Sized Big Beautiful Woman and those women are 500lbs and up and wear custom sized clothing. My wife is an USSBBW. She weighs in at about 710lbs and wears a circus tent for a house dress. 👍👍
