Someone recently asked if you could be a superhero, who would it be? Others said Superman, Batman, the Flash, etc. When I thought about it, I said Dr, Manhattan, saying it was because he had these extraordinary powers, but they didn't know truly why I said that. In reality, it was because of those powers, but also because he was indestructible and immortal. I could travel anywhere at any time and destroy anyone I chose, and there are so very many that should die. Just go on Youtube, Facebook, Twitter, or any of the other social media sites, even the evening news. I would find them, and show them what pathetic pieces of shit they are, and just like Rorschach, obliterate them. So many pieces of shit to destroy, but the pleasure would be worth giving up a bit of my humanity.
This, as Mr. Spock would say, is highly illogical. The moment you begin to "obliterate" people simply because you can: you cease being a hero.
