...Vinita...
I’m currently backpacking through out Oz. Looking for work from one place to another has not been easy. Two weeks ago I checked in to a caravan park in remote Victoria following stone fruit picking work. To help with finance I opted for a shared caravan. I was greeted at my new caravan by a smiling Vinita who seems old enough to be my mum. At first I was some what disappointed for not getting some younger girl as a house mate. However I soon realize that the caravan was kept clean, food cooked, and my laundry done daily, so I am thankful. Vinita told me she has a son my age so I was not surprise when she was being more a mother than a house mate.
Last Friday afternoon I got back home from fruit picking only to find Vinita not home yet. I got the caravan cleaned and dinner cooked knowing given the Australian extremely hot summer weather, Vinita will be so exhausted when she gets home. She was picking grapes at another farm. After shower, I then proceeded on my beers while trying to picture what Vinita will do the moment she gets home. She has not taken warmly to my usual afternoon beers. But since its weekend, I was determined to enjoy it at all cost.
When Vinita finally return from work it was already nightfall. I could see the effect of the hot day’s sun on her and without further thinking, I pushed a nice cold beer her way. Without skipping a beat, she lifted the beer and downed it happily. She obviously was not a drinker for by the second bottle, she was bubbling like a teenage girl rather than the mum she is. When she returned from shower after the fourth bottle, she dried her curvy body in front of me as if it was the norm. That night was start of our many nights in one bed. Backpacking is not bad after all…..
