There are various reasons for this including that people are barred by the government from defending themselves. This creates the opportunity for assaults which in turn give the government more power to further limit the people's defense.
This does not happen in nations where the people all are trained to use weapons and they all own them. Switzerland and Israel are examples. Everyone owns a gun but there are not mass shootings.
Huh? So there was more than one mass shooting a day in America in 2024? I live here, and recall like maybe 2 the whole year. Where/when did the other 486 occur?

We are, as a nation, overdue with a presidential assassination. One that would bring us back to the center of attention and open the flood gates in merchandising and souvenir tee-shirt sales that would commemorate the event.
Kennedy's assassination would have rocked the world far more than it did had there been the internet and Amazon. There could have been records set in the sale of souvenir merchandise that would have stimulated the entire world wide economy.
One well placed bullet could bring that profit making opportunity to us now. The residual opportunities to have blockbuster summer movies where huge profits could be had around the events prior to this history changing event.
The gay community would flock to see how that young VP would take over in the subsequent Romcom movies that will follow.
