Naturist but not
I guess I would consider myself a naturist, but there is only one problem. I can't stand for others to see me completely naked. I don't care if people catch a glimpse down, up, or even from the side from what I'm wearing, but I don't want to be just nude.
I never liked wearing clothes when I was kid and now that I have gotten older I like clothes even less. They feel constricting, they never fit me right, and I'm convinced that bras are simply designed to torture us. Half the time I wear only a sundress with no undergarments and no socks or shoes. I have many different sundresses in different colors and cuts. I go out, sundress. I go to work, sundress. Lounging around the house, you got it, sundress.
My mom keeps telling me I need to grow up and stop acting childish. She says I need to either start dressing in proper clothing or go live in a nudist community. I don't want to be naked in front of other people, I just want to feel comfortable and sundresses are the only thing that I feel comfortable wearing. I'm sorry if others can sometimes see my breasts from the side or when I bend over, and I'm sorry if others can sometimes see my lady parts when I'm wearing a short dress and I move just right, but I want to be comfortable.
Should I just go live in a nudist community?
Or is wearing only sundresses acceptable even though my mom keeps telling me it's not?
FYI. I am an adult woman 26 who lives on my own in my own place. My parents don't pay my bills. So no, I don't have to obey them, but I also don't want to cause problems.
You might want to check out a nudist resort. I would suggest a nudist club but most of those seem to be sexually oriented. Here's the thing, if, at either one, you take off your clothes, people are going to look. Since you'll probably be looking at them, too, it's just a fact that you'll have to be cool with. The calmness and normalcy of the other patrons will go a long way in getting you comfortable with nudity around other people, as well as being comfortable in your own skin. There is nothing wrong with what your doing, especially in your own house.
My youngest daughter is alot like you, from the time she learned to take her own clothes off. She has ran around the house naked, and yes even got outside a few times. Now that she is in her teens and developing a beautiful body it has become a problem with my other children and my husband. So we had a really long mother, daughter talk, and compremised. With sun dresses, and how to sit like a lady, with her legs together. So far its working out.
I just had my first experience at a nudist club. Absolutely loved it everyone was so nice and comfortable in their own skin. I spent 5 days and want to go back.
