Birthday Kiss
I had one of my buddies over the other day. We had a few beers at my place, and then were going to out to lunch at a brew pub and knock back a few more. It was his birthday. He's 25. We've been friends since middle school.
He came over, and after a couple of drinks my wife said "Are you and Elena (his wife) doing anything special tonight?" He said, "No, I didn't even get a birthday kiss from her yet." My wife looked at me and asked if she could give him a birthday kiss. It was a weird request, but I said sure, thinking it was going to be a quick peck on the lips at the most.
She went to him, they wrapped their arms around each other, and she did give him a quick kiss on the lips, but they went back for more, with a little tongue. My wife said, "Wow, you're good at that" and they kissed one more time, again with tongue, after which my wife said, "Whew, I feel like I'm high."
Nothing else happened, and my buddy and I went to lunch and we didn't say anything about him kissing my wife. I was a little pissed off at both of them though. I don't think what they did was appropriate. My wife doesn't want to talk about it and says it's no big deal. I think maybe it is. What do people here think?

Two years ago on my husbands birthday, my best friend and her husband were over for dinner and drinks. That was an odd request by your wife to kiss him. Then the fact they kissed like that in front of you and her comments about how great it was is totally wrong. I would bet there is more going on between them than you are seeing. It wouldn't surprise me if they are having an affair and have been for sometime. You can always tell by a kiss and how natural it seems to be between them. If its not the least bit awkward the first time then its not the first time they have kissed.
