His wife has stopped talking to me

My husband and I have been dealing with fertility issues. I'm 26, never been pregnant, and we'd like to start a family asap. After a couple of years of trying, my husband got tested and his sperm count is low to the point of infertility.

We don't have the money for treatment, as our insurance doesn't cover it. After a long discussion, we decided to ask his older brother for help to do it the old fashioned way. He's 34 and has three kids, so we know he can produce. He looks like my husband and came from the same stock, so it was the next best thing. It doesn't hurt that he is healthy, trim, and handsome. He cycles and runs daily.

His brother said he would be our donor, but only if his wife didn't know. He said she is very uptight and would freak out if she knew. I didn't like that answer, but what could we do? We said okay. We would be sneaky behind his wife.

My husband and I converted a spare bedroom into what we jokingly call "The Fuck Room." I didn't want to fuck his brother in our bed, so we set up another room. We filled it with a new bed, new curtains, new rugs, low lighting, candles, massage oils, and incense. The room is very romantic and is a nice place to do it. We also got a small stereo so we can play some soft, ambient music.

A couple of months ago his brother came over and we had our first session. My husband didn't want to be there, so he went to a sporting event with a friend. By the time he came back, we were done and his brother had left.

His brother was (and is) a mind-blowing fuck. (I don't tell that to my husband.) He's larger than my husband and getting off with him is easy. And wow, he likes me and he likes pussy. I didn't know that he had been attracted to me since the day we met three years ago. Doing it with him is easy, relaxed, and oh-so pleasurable. We've had him over a few times, as we're still trying. I keep track of my basal temperature, and when I'm at the right time in my cycle, I'll shoot him a text to see if he is available. I'm really subtle in my texts, as I don't want his wife to know, of course. It's usually along the lines of "Basal temp is right. Come over?" and usually nothing else.

Well, his wife went through his phone and figured it out. She's smart (college professor, actually). She went ballistic on me in a call while I was at work. I admitted to what we were doing, and tried to explain that I had no ill will towards her. She wanted to know how many times I've fucked her husband, and I was honest and said "four." That is four meetups, not how many times he inseminated me. He is usually good for two or three rounds. Like I mentioned, he's fit.

She said I can "Burn in Hell" and will never talk to me or my husband again. She said she might even get a divorce, because she is so hurt.

I haven't talked to her or my husband's brother since, but the family is in a bad place. It stresses me out. I don't think we did anything that bad, since we were doing it for a good cause. Am I nuts?
