Did anyone else sabotage their mother‘s pantyhose?
I sometimes sabotaged mom's pantyhose during my adolescent and teen years. It wasn't something I did all the time. I did it more often during spring and summer because that is when her pantyhose developed runs less frequently and I also did it when my pantyhose stash was depleted.
I never did anything to the more expensive pairs for fear she may discontinue purchasing them and they were my favorites.
Using a seam ripper, I would carefully catch and slightly pull a few nylon threads in the thigh area of a stocking of the pantyhose to make a minor snag. Sometimes I broke a single thread with the seam ripper. I was always careful not to actually cut a hole in the nylon.
Rarely did the pantyhose run on mom right right away. Typically, mom was able to wear a sabotaged pair for several hours before a run developed.
