Experiences with bra fittings

My first job years ago was in a department store. Braless was the style and my first week of work I wore a blouse braless. I had to walk by the lingerie department and an older lady (maybe 50-60) working there said I'd get fired if reported. She loaned me her sweater and told me to come by when I was off shift.
I went and she took me in the fitting area and showed me how in different light you could see my nipples either the areola color or it poking out. She kept touching my boobs to demonstrate. She asked what kind of bras I had and I said the little stretchy ones. She said thats the same as braless and she'd help me choose some bras. She measured me and without a word took off my blouse. She measured more and kept feeling my boobs.
When she came back with bras she didn't leave for me to try them. Each one she put her hands in the cups to make sure the entire boob was in the cup and when I straightened up. She felt for my nipples to make sure they were centered and pulled them over or up if they weren't.
The whole thing was a little creepy but she wasn't really feeling me up and gotta be honest it felt good.
The ones she said fit best I gotta say were the ugliest. Plain and thick. The ones I liked and picked out had more lace and she'd show me how my nipples showed in them. When I said one didn't she said because their flat right now. She pulled on them until they were hard and said see how they show. And they did but you know.
So we finally compromised on one that was kind of cute, lacey with a lining and I bought it. I wore it the next day and she stopped me to ask why I wasn't wearing the new one, she could see my nipples and the cup wasn't smooth. I actually WAS wearing it but I had cut out the lining. She gave me another one and said she'd pay for it.
So over the summer months I was a temp working there, she'd come see me whenever she had new bras and I'd go after work for her to fit me because to be frank I liked her feeling my boobs. She was so firm it was stimulating. Had she been gentle I may not have even noticed.
I went back to work over Christmas as a temp again and she did the same thing. I had a huge collection of bras because she'd give me discounts or give me returns. Bras started getting sexier so she had to concede to my choices more but she'd still do through the measuring and fittings.
Years later I never had a bra fitting until after I had a baby and breastfed and I was surprised the measuring was so fast and involved very little touching. I went several places and some didn't even have you take off your blouse and most measured over my bra. They'd all leave the fitting room when I changed.
When I went to one new place I told the woman this was nothing like the first fitting I had as a teenager. She asked what happened and when I gave her a brief description (but like it only happened once) she said I'd been molested. That nobody ever would touch a client's nipples and if an adjustment was necessary she would explain to the client how to do it, they'd never put their hands inside the cup.
Gotta say I was disappointed and over the years I've kept going for bra fittings at new places or when there were new associates working. I even looked for bad reviews of shops but it was always for rudeness or such whatnot. Never for inappropriate touching. Well, there was one (actually somewhat close by around Washington DC but the reviewer said she reported it and the associate was fired.
I even went into a sexy, kind of sleazy lingerie shop but the workers had no interest in helping but they'd always leave the curtain open so pervs in the store could get a glimpse.
Actually the closest I came was when I was getting married and the bridal shop lady was constantly coming in and out and grabbing but it seemed more like she was trying to act like a know-it-all rather than trying to feel me up.
So is my experience unique? Has anyone else had an experience?
