How I discovered an odd fetish

This is the story of how I discovered one of my strange and rather gross fetishes - emetophilia, aka a fetish for vomiting. If this grosses you out or makes you uncomfortable, I'd advise you to stop reading now.

Almost my entire life I have been fascinated by vomiting, even when I was little I remember my mum being sick in the kitchen sink when she was pregnant with my sister, and I would be watching fascinated. At school if anyone said they felt sick I would be interested instead of repulsed, and if I saw a reference to it in a book or a cartoon I would enjoy it. I would do things like look up references to sick in dictionaries and medical books, or in books on pregnancy at the library to see if they mentioned morning sickness. All the time I thought it was just a strange interest.

I remember clearly the day I realised it must be something deeper. I was in a lesson one morning at high school, sat working away, when a couple of desks away a girl called Gillian suddenly jumped out of her seat and ran for the door with her hand sort of held out in front of her, and the girl who was next to her called to the teacher "Sir, Gilly's gone to be sick". He said something to acknowledge it but I don't remember what.

As I watched her run out of the room, I suddenly went all hot and weird and felt like I had pins and needles all over, and I had to stop myself following her. I wanted to ask if I could go and check if she was alright, but for some reason I just couldn't move or say anything.

Gillian came back after being sick (I presume she got to the toilets OK) and sort of laid down on her desk, and I looked at her, still feeling hot and tingling all over, and thought "What the hell WAS that...what just happened to me?". That was the first time I remember being properly turned on, although I didn't know what it was then.

There were a couple of other incidents at school and elsewhere, and eventually when I learned what sexual fetishes were I realised what it must be. I was quite shocked at first, but relieved to know what it was. I experimented with it alone after that, but have only mentioned it to others when the internet came along.
