They joined me in the bay and left their tops on the shore

I wanted to try the nude beach but wasn't quite ready. So I got up early in the morning and went when no one else was there. I left my clothes on the beach and wandered out into the water. A few minutes later, I noticed a couple of black ladies walking down the beach in my direction. I decided not to panic and just continued enjoying the water without trying to hide or be shy in any way. Once they got close enough, I said "Good morning" and they pleasantly responded. They said they weren't brave enough to go nude but seemed intrigued. I explained that I was a bit timid also but had recently read a blog post by a young asian girl about breaking out of her comfort zone and how her experience at a nude beach gave her a sense of freedom and accomplishment. I told them that waw what inspired me to give it a try. I think something happens when you have a normal conversation with someone that is totally nude. It removes some of the anxiety or something.

So they decided to join me in the water. They took their tops off but weren't comfortable going totally nude. I didn't care. I was just happy that they were friendly. They were probably in their early 30s while I was in my late forties. They commented that I was in great shape for my age which made me feel good. I mean, any time a lady (or two, in this case) compliments you while you're naked, it's a great experience.
