My story
I don't know if my confession or story is too long.......is there a counter or something to let me know how many letters and spaces I have?
If it's worrying you that it's too long it probably is. Just write it out and reread it and edit before posting. It's probably at least too wordy, meaning you probably use 4-5 words where one or none would suffice. See how redundant your narrative is, edit out parts that really don't add to the overall story. Finally, if it's long, you better make sure there's a payoff at the end or we'll all be PO'd.
I have tried to post my stories, but to no avail. At the end it keeps saying that my post is too long, so I won't be posting. I have even tried to drastically shorten the post, but again it says it's too long. So I won't be posting. Now I don't know how to delete the original question about is there a counter.
Most people who have long stories post them in installations - part 1, part 2, etc.
Oh god..... don't encourage him! You KNOW if it's too long it's probably too boring!
Get on with your story and we will let you know .
