It's the desire for something new and exciting. The desire doesn't go away just because of marriage but it should be controlled, perhaps a little role play or sex in different places. My story, my wife and I have regular sex but I discovered that she was having sex with one of her work colleagues. I was a little suspicious but had no proof until her single sister told me. That led to SIL and me having regular sex together at her place. As far as I know, my wife doesn't know that I'm aware of her cheating and she is not aware of mine with her sister.

Exactly my point. But it's not just women, men too. I honestly don't understand why people cheat on one another. If they don't want to be in a serious relationship like marriage, then why not confront and make a deal. If both want to have sex outside marriage, they can talk it out before marriage and do what the fuck they feel like when they are okay with it. But I hate people who cheat. I never thought of cheating on my husband till date- if I feel I'm not getting something from him, I sit down and talk it out. He understands and we help each other. I think thats how a relation should go. Cheating is for loosers, be it women or men. I've known people who themselves cheat on their spouse and then shout on them if they call any friend home.

But when you ask them what have they done to improve the situation, their answer usually translates into "I am the woman, he is supposed to desire me no matter what." They look for the guy who woo's them.

This is my third marriage and all three of my wives cheated. My current wife cheats with my permission. Maybe thats why it has lasted 28 years.

Cheating is very common. My wife and I both have cheated on each other and both of us have found out about the other. So we talked it out and agreed that we both loved each other but just wanted some variety. So we both see other people. She'll call from work and say she won't be home tonight, or I'll do the same. We still fuck, but also fuck others, and hardly a day goes by when we don't have sex--either with each other or with someone else. I guess we have what you call an open marriage now. We're both very happy with the arrangement.
