Mom and Son Reunion
I don't think this is as uncommon as one might think. My aunt gave up custody of my cousin and he was raised by my grandparents in Mexico. She very rarely went to go visit him as a kid and after the age of five she didn't see him anymore until he was about 24 or 25 when he came back here to the United States. Their reunification was dramatic and emotional and they started hanging out so much together for about a year. Then everything fell apart. We couldn't figure out what happened and he moved to another state. So fast forward to now. He and I are both the same age. We are 48 years old. We have families and kids and all that jazz. I reconnect with him. We have a cookout together here at the lake in Chicago. End of the night a bunch of beers in. We're chit-chatting about life and everything else and he tells me that the reason he left to move to Michigan was because at some point his relationship with his mom became sexual.
He says it happened one night while they were both having some drinks and smoking some weed. He says he was always accustomed to putting his hand down his pants while drinking and chilling with his friends and in the midst drunkenness and the highness his mom told him to pull it out so he can see if he was really a man. And so he did. He said they both laughed at first and it was just this funny thing. But he just left it out and began to slowly jerk it while they were chatting. He says before he knew it she just quietly got on her knees and gave him head and he let her do it. Eventually it progressed over the next couple weeks to where they were having sex and sleeping in the same bed. He said the dynamic wasn't that of a mother and son but they were more like friends.
Eventually I think the emotions became too much and the whole relationship broke down. She claimed he took advantage. He claimed she took advantage and eventually they had a big fight and the neighbors called the police. Now the police were never told about the relationship. They just figured it was an adult son and his mother having a fight. So he moved and to this day has never spoken to her. At this time she's maybe around 73 74. I'm not 100% sure. I've told him to reconnect with her but he says that there's too much damage there.
