My 13 year daughter has PCOS and is proud to be a hairy girl
I am very proud of my daughter, she is a very special and wise 13 year young girl.
When she reached puberty at 10 year her mother and me noticed that before she was 11 she already had very much pubic hair, she was so hairy that we thought she maybe could have any kind of disorder. And we were right, her diagnosis was PCOS. My daughter would be a very hairy girl for the rest of her life. We talked to her and tried to explain what was wrong with her. As an 11 year old girl she understood exactly what was happening and how her life would look like. on her 12th birthday she told all her friends and family that she had chosen not to fight her disorder, meaning, she accepted that she would be very hairy the rest of her life and that was her own choice. My daughter is now a 13 year old teen girl, and a proud little girl. She is a beautiful and strong girl. Now she is a girl of 13 years her body is very hairy, and its visible. She asked us lately if she was allowed to have her first boyfriend... We got really emotional that our strong girl found a boy that is very kind for her and understands what she has for disorder. Offcourse we sad yes to her. Her first boyfriend is one year older than her, he is 14. He loves our daughter and supports her in many ways. Our girl told us that her boyfriend now knows how her body looks.... We both had to laugh because of what she said, we have a slight idea that she and her boyfriend had sex the 1st time.
We are so happy that there is a boy that totally accepts our daughter, how hairy she may be or will be. She has absolutely no problems with going to the swimming pool with her boyfriend. And she has no shame at all that she has such a very hairy body. And if people look at her she asks what they want. She still does not fight her disease, so she has extremely much hair everywhere, she is not ashamed to have a little mustache, and very thick black eyebrows. We are very proud to have such a daughter, and we love her boyfriend as much. Thanks.
