Our "torrid" affair in St. Louis
About 25 years ago, a female co-worker and I were sent to a training conference in St. Louis. We were both in our late 20s and married, me for about five years, her for maybe a couple. We had become friends through work and had a good relationship -- chat about life, sports, some innocent flirting, etc.
When we got to the hotel to check in, we realized that the person responsible for making travel arrangements had made an unfortunate mistake. Our company typically had employees on travel share a room when possible, and apparently this person didn't pay attention to the fact that we were a guy and a girl. Adding to the problem was that the hotel was fully booked, and the room they had us booked in had only one bed.
After failing to find another reasonable option and with the hour getting late, we decided to just make the best of it. We got to the room and started settling in. We agreed that we would tell our spouses about the snafu and having to share a room, but decided to fib and say that there were two separate beds instead of a single king bed. We took turns with the bathroom and exhausted from the day, both got in bed. We chatted for a little while about this and that while winding down for the night. We were probably close to dozing off when she giggled and said "I hope I can fall asleep without my goodnight kiss!" I told her to lean over towards me. She did and I gave her a quick peck on the lips and wished her sweet dreams. We repeated that little bit of affection the next two nights, then flew home after our conference.
Today, I'm still married to the same woman. She is divorced but has been in an LTR with another man for quite a while. We've both moved on to different companies, but are still friends on Facebook and occasionally will meet for lunch or drinks to catch up. We never told our spouses about sharing a bed, and we still share a laugh about our "torrid affair" in St. Louis.

We met for drinks a few nights ago because my wife had her book club meeting, so i was free. I actually asked her about what she would have done if I had made a move. She said she wasn't 100% sure to be honest, but that she probably would have let me take her. We agreed that it was probably just as well that we behaved ourselves, but when we parted for the evening, our normal cheek kiss and friendly hug was a lip kiss that lingered just a second and the hug seemed a little tighter...
I probably could have, yes. But at the time I was fully committed to my wife and wasn't interested in playing with fire. Given the same situation now, I might try it just for the thrill.
