It's called "prostitution" ...you prostituted yourself for a better grade. That has nothing to do with the failings of an educational system. It is solely indicative of a moral failing on your behalf. If you did recover a higher grade it was waisted on you and society at large will suffer for it.
My wife is a teacher, but her double standard is that she'll give a break to the kids with a good attitude and who try hard, even if they are struggling with the subject matter. If the kids come across as arrogant and entitled and don't want to work hard, she will cut them no slack at all.
