Gay pickup in a non-gay bar

I live in a very small New England town with a small population and just a handful of eating/drinking establishments. I’m bi and find it tough to hook up with men in town as the out ones are few and the closeted ones are nervous as cats to be found out. It’s taken a few years and gleaning bits of information and advice, but there is a secret gay network…for lack of a better term.

There are about 20 or so guys in town actively looking, not all at once. We all know that the busiest and most popular bar is best, since you blend in easier. You come in and sit at the bar, ideally with open chairs around you. If another interested guy comes in and spots you he casually sits next to you and you chat about sports, family, business, whatever. After a while one leaves and then the other leaves after a bit and you meet wherever agreed, usually for one or mutual blowjobs. The routine avoids calls or texts that make wives and GFs suspicious. And you fit in as one of the guys grabbing a beer. And for me at least it adds a bit of excitement and intrigue to an otherwise sexually dull life.
